If you haven’t picked up from this Tumblr already, tonight is the season premiere of the terrible, awful, life-ruining Parenthood. In honor of Joel (TV’s hunkiest hunk character) I tweaked the Old Fashioned to include 1 tbsp simple syrup made of sugar and an oaky California Chardonnay reduction, a couple kinds of Fee Brothers (Old Fashioned and Lemon) and a tiny dash of Angostura orange bitters, 2 oz Bulleit Rye, a splash of club soda, and a lemon garnish and you have…”the Joel Fashioned.”
