current online teaching load is 2 classes (one of which is split into two sections). combined across all classes i have 65 students and so far it is panning out to about 500+ total discussion postings per week, plus 35 student blogs to follow. oh, and none of this includes assignments, exams, and papers - or the email load that comes from having 65 online students.
i’m not normally a “fml” sort of person but…fml.
