oh my god it's windy and sunny

(Taken with instagram) Reblogging this pic from last fall as a point of reflection… Up until the week that I left Milwaukee last May, there were three things that stayed consistently posted right in front of my face in my library carrel: a postcard of the Bodleian Library, a quote by Rawls, and a Dawes lyric. Tonight, it all comes together as I go to see Dawes play in Oxford during my weekend break from the OII Summer Doctoral Program.  The last few years have been a lot of work and there is still plenty to do, but you know what? I’m going to enjoy myself tonight, dammit.
