fine. because apparently people don’t like the new season of Arrested Development, here are my thoughts.
- it is pretty funny, man. i don’t know what AD the rest of you were watching but this season feels pretty much in line with what came before.
- episodes 10-15 are the. best. and, actually, they make episodes 1-9 retroactively better.
- SAME.
- the Imagine Entertainment/Ron Howard stuff is a little gratuitous and not that funny.
- having already rewatched a number of the episodes at this point, i think the concurrent timelines thing doesn’t pay off on just one run through as well as hoped. a lot of these eps are better the second time around, and that is probably a bad thing for a TV show?
- the “i was better off watching the commercials” / “DON’T YOU SAY THAT” meta-joke was hilarz
